"Queen Pin" is Roxanne Shante's last solo record on Cold Chillin' Records. It was first released on Roxanne Shante's Greatest Hits in 1995 on Cold Chillin'. It is produced by Tony T. who produced for the late Cold Chillin' releases of Kool G Rap(XXX Cuts) and the Brooklyn Zoo 12"s. He also produced most of Mack da Maniak - Loco Motive album from 1996. "Queen Pin" was later released in 1996 as a promo 12" inch containing a remix. I would love to hear it if someone has it as I don't own it.. "Queen Pin" was ripped from the lp vinyl. Enjoy,

King Tee The Great

I shouldn't have to sell you on King Tees greatness. In my book he is one of the most underrated emcees of all-time. When I think of real O.G.'s Tee is one of the first names that comes to mind. Along with the likes of MC Ren, King Tee kills most of the guest spots he gets. To give you a better idea here are two compilations filled with King Tee collabos from 1988-2009. Ok Boston locals, give me the lowdown. What are the best spots for picking up (used) vinyl ? I'm out here on the west coast but next time I make it back that way I want to know where to hunt. I did a trip there in 2006 but didn't have time for any crate digging. Alas. This compilation is something I put together back in 2007. It is volume 2 of an 8 part series. Now, it's no secret that he is one of my favorite lyricists of all-time. It's no secret that T.R.O.Y. has showed Ras Kass more love than most rappers discussed here. Maybe it's his management? Maybe, just maybe Ras Kass needs go back to the basics and realize what made him the lyricist he is today.
